Full pedigree Teckle pups (working wire haired dachshunds) born 13th October 2024. Based on Devon/Cornwall border.
First, a word about Teckles! I have kept dogs for around forty years. If I had experienced the zany world of Teckles back when I started, I would rarely have had another breed of dog for working, companionship or a family pet! I could definitely write a book about the amazing traits of this breed... but there are plenty of articles, books and videos already completed by others. Please take the time to find information about the Teckle or WHD. I don't believe I have ever seen so much enthusiasm for a dog breed before and well deserved too.
We have had Tickle, the mum, from a pup for three and a half years. She is loved and adored by everyone she meets, especially children. She gives love unconditionally. This is clearly evident in all six of the pups who have needed no encouragement to be incredibly sociable.
Both parents, Helghor Meadow Stream (F) and Kenynten Radiant Raspberry (M),are KC registered and have a full six generation pedigree with some blood-lines going back close to a hundred years. Many EU nation champions are represented in their bloodlines with others having significant working qualifications going back many decades.
Both parents are working dogs with the dam working rodents and the sire blood tracking deer.
Each pup will be vet checked, wormed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and will have a personalised five generation pedigree certificate.
The pups are now KC registered.
